Genealogy
1. Danehill Burial Ground Project This started as a major research project for the society during the 'Lockdown' period where other activities were curtailed. The standing gravestones in the old burial ground have all been examined in detail and members of the group, especially Elizabeth Broadbridge, have extensively researched the families of the deceased. Click to find detailed information on more than a hundred families of those interred in the Old Burial Ground. 2. Other Family Information
We have received information on families which are not directly connected to the Burial Ground. This information can be found by clicking the green boxes. In particular we have extensive information on the Tye family which has been deposited by Jon Howes, now resident in the USA. The Tye family is mainly associated with West Hoathly and Horsted Keynes. |
